Day 1:

On arrival in Buenos Aires, a driver will meet you and you will be transferred to your hotel. You’ll spend half a day visiting the capital Buenos Aires, accompanied by a driver and guide. You’ll discover the capital’s most emblematic landmarks, from the obelisk to the antique district and the port.

Day 2:

We propose a second half-day tour of Buenos Aires accompanied by a driver and guide. You’ll discover the Recoleta district and its famous cemetery, where Eva Perron is buried. You’ll pass through the trendy Palermo district, and stroll through the Parc 3 de febrero, inaugurated in 1875, the city’s green lung.

Day 3:

You will be transferred to Buenos Aires airport, from where you will take a domestic flight to Ushuaia, the Land of Fire. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The city’s unique landscape combines sea, glaciers, mountains and forests. We suggest you explore the city’s early settlers’ quarters.

Day 4:

Full-day visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park with an English-speaking guide. You’ll start in the Río Pipo valley, then head for Ensenada Bay, where you’ll be able to contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo islands. Take a stroll to Lake Roca and catch a glimpse of snow-capped Mount Condor. Return to Ushuaia.

In the afternoon, board a catamaran for a 2-hour sail on the Beagle Channel. Reach the “Isla de los pajaros”, a famous refuge for imperial cormorants, albatrosses and more than 20 other species of seabirds.

Day 5:

You leave this morning for a day of crossing the Andes and their forests. Stop at the Velo de Novia waterfall. Continue on to the Carabajal Valley and the Huskies Valley.

Day 6:

In the morning you will be transferred to Ushuaia airport, from where you will take a domestic flight to El Calafate. On arrival, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Take advantage of your free time to wander around El Calafate. This town offers a multitude of activities (visit the Laguna Nimez nature reserve, the Glaciarium…).

Day 7:

In the morning, departure from your hotel for the port of Punta Bandera, about 50 km from El Calafate. This full-day excursion takes place on the northern arm of Lake Argentina. You’ll sail for 2 hours and see many glaciers, whose headwalls can reach 135 meters in height. In the early afternoon, return to port.

Day 8:

Early morning departure for the Estancia. Surrounded by Glacier National Park, the Estancia is a cattle and sheep farm. A visit to the Estancia is an opportunity to learn about the history of the estate, discover daily life on the Estancia, take part in the traditional sheep-shearing demonstration and enjoy an Argentine asado. If you wish, you can take a horseback ride (1h).

Day 9:

Depart from your hotel for the Perito Moreno glacier in Glacier National Park. Numerous footbridges offer panoramic views of the glacier overlooking the surrounding lenga groves. From the port at the Refugio Argentino, you embark on a one-hour cruise to appreciate the south face of the glacier, which can exceed 70 meters in height.

Day 10:

In the morning, you’ll be transferred to Ushuaia airport for your domestic flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. You’ll have a free day in Buenos Aires. Take the opportunity to stroll through your favorite neighborhoods, sit at a café terrace and observe the lifestyle of the portenos.

In the evening, you’re invited to discover the popular tango of the early 20th century during a dinner show. The most important events in the history of tango will be recounted in a spectacular tango show. The menu includes 3 courses and drinks.

Day 11:

You’ll be transferred to the port of Buenos Aires, where you’ll take a direct ferry to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. On arrival at the port, pick up your rental car and meet your guide for a private tour of the historic district. This tour is on foot. Your guide will tell you all about the city’s history and secrets.

Day 12:

Heading for the north of the country, you’ll follow the course of the Rio Uruguay and arrive in the charming town of Carmelo. Don’t miss a stroll around its pretty central square, where its swing bridge, a masterpiece of engineering, is also renowned. But Carmelo’s fame is mainly due to its bodegas. We highly recommend a visit to one of them and a wine tasting session – you won’t regret it.

You’ll continue on your way to Mercedes. A quiet northern town with a relaxed atmosphere. Stroll through its neighborhoods and contemplate its diverse architectural styles. Of course, we recommend walking along the rambla to enjoy the view of the rio.

Day 13:

On your way to Paysandú, stop off in the pretty town of Fray Bentos. Visit the old industrial district of l’Anglo, and its “Frigorifico l’Anglo” factory, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2015. This factory produced the famous corned beef, one of the biggest in South America in the 20th century.

When you arrive in Paysandú, don’t miss the main tourist attraction: the thermal springs. Stroll along the rambla to the town’s port. In the Paysandú region, there are plenty of activities on offer, including the Queguay waterfall, a walk in the Rincon de Perez forest or a visit to the Cueva del Tigre cave, inhabited by vampire bats.

Day 14:

Make your way to Tacuarembó, this large northern town is full of surprises. Stroll through the streets and you’ll discover a wealth of paintings and frescoes on the city walls. Tacuarembó is a veritable open-air museum. We also recommend a visit to the museum dedicated to the artist Carlos Gardel.

Head south to Pasos de los Toros. This small town retains the natural charm of the ancient Hum des Charrúas river. The Rincón del Bonete dam, with its huge lake, provides an ideal setting for relaxing by the water. Enjoy the beaches and serenity of Pasos de los Toros.

Day 15:

Heading for Treinta y Tres, you’ll continue on your way to your estancia. You’ll be invited to stay on a full-board basis. Your hosts will take care of everything. There are plenty of activities on offer during your homestay, including hiking, horseback riding and helping out with your hosts’ daily chores.

Day 16:

The Treinta y Tres region is home to a large protected reserve: the Quebrada de los Cuervos. A must for hikers and sports enthusiasts of all kinds. Discover also the Laguna Merín, one of Uruguay’s largest freshwater reserves and one of its most important ecological treasures.

Day 17:

You’ll head for the Atlantic coast, stopping off at Punta del Diablo. This delightful fishing village will seduce you with its peace and quiet. Enjoy its sumptuous beaches, ideal for surfers and nature lovers. Buy your fish directly from the fishermen as they return from their catch, for a taste like no other.

Day 18:

Just a few kilometers from Punta del Diablo, discover Santa Teresa National Park. It boasts over 3,000 hectares, a native animal reserve, a floral park and a magnificent fortress not to be missed. The park also overlooks the ocean, so take a stroll along its wild and magnificent beaches.

Day 19:

We invite you to take a break from the coast: Cabo Polonio. Cabo Polonio is a small ecological reserve on Uruguay’s Atlantic coast, where around fifty people live year-round. It’s one of the largest sea lion reserves in South America. Here, everyone lives at nature’s pace. Cars are not allowed, and everything is done to respect the ecosystem.

Day 20:

On the way to Punta del Este, stop off at Jose Ignacio. Originally a small fishing village, it has gradually become an extremely intimate place. You’ll see some very luxurious architect-designed houses. The beaches are magnificent and the pretty red-and-white lighthouse is well worth a visit, with panoramic views from its summit.

Finally, you’ll arrive in Punta del Este. A renowned seaside resort, Punta del Este is a trendy city offering a wide range of restaurants, activities, bars and souvenirs. Take a surfing lesson on the Brava beach or a paddleboard lesson on the Mansa. Stroll down the main street in search of souvenirs.

We also invite you to a wine tasting at a typical bodega 30 minutes from Punta del Este. The view from this bodega is breathtaking, overlooking the entire region and the Laguna del Sauce. The tasting will be accompanied by local and artisanal products.

Day 21:

Discover the natural, rolling landscapes of the Minas region, just an hour north of Punta del Este. This hilly region offers extraordinary natural landscapes. We invite you to visit Villa Serrana, where you can enjoy a wide range of family activities, including hiking, tree climbing and zip-lining.

On your way back from Minas, stop off at the pretty seaside resort of Piriápolis. It boasts a magnificent seafront with its Rambla. Climb to the top of Cerro San Antonio and admire the superb panoramic view across the bay.

In Punta del Este, we propose an unusual activity: a boat trip to Sea Lion Island. This island is home to over 250,000 marine mammals. Set course for the island and you’ll soon be surrounded by them. Weather permitting, and with the captain’s permission, you can get in the water and swim with them!

Day 22:

Free day in Punta del Este, enjoying the many beaches, sun and activities on the peninsula. Treat yourself to a trip to Gorrithi Island, opposite the port and reachable by boat in 15 minutes. Or sit on a terrace on the rambla and watch the sunset.

Night in Montevideo, lunch included.

Day 23:

Head for the capital Montevideo. We offer you a private tour of the capital with driver and English-speaking guide for 4 hours. You’ll visit Montevideo’s most emblematic landmarks. The tour starts with the old town and its port, then passes through the trendy districts of Pocitos and Punta Carretas, and takes in the famous Centenario stadium that hosted the first World Cup.

Located 30 minutes from Montevideo, we offer a visit to a charming vineyard. You’ll have the opportunity to taste the different wines from the winery before lunch at the Bodega. This is one of Uruguay’s most prestigious vineyards, with over 75 international awards and medals.

Day 24:

Finally, depending on your flight schedule, a driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Montevideo airport for your return flight.
