Safari in Tanzania covers Lake Natron, the Serengeti, Ndutu, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire over 8 days. Both can be combined with Zanzibar, and couples can also look at our honeymoon in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Which safari itineraries does AZORA Voyages offer in East Africa?
Two detailed routes and one open combination. Safari Big Five in Kenya runs 10 days, Safari in Tanzania runs 8 days, and the Combo Safari and Zanzibar is built entirely to order.
How long should a safari in Kenya or Tanzania last?
Our sample itineraries run 8 days in Tanzania and 10 days in Kenya. Adding a beach stay in Zanzibar extends the trip, and the exact length is set with you rather than fixed in advance.
Which parks and reserves are included in these itineraries?
In Kenya, the Masai Mara National Reserve, Crescent Island and Amboseli National Park, with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. In Tanzania, Lake Natron, the Serengeti, Ndutu, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park.
Can we combine a safari with Zanzibar?
Yes. Three combinations are offered: Kenya and Zanzibar, Tanzania and Zanzibar, or all three together. The beach stretch is normally placed at the end of the trip.
Will we see the Big Five?
The itineraries are built around the reserves where the Big Five live, but sightings are never guaranteed. These are wild populations, and no operator can promise a particular animal on a particular day.
When can we see the Great Migration?
The herds move continuously and the timing shifts from one year to the next with the rains. Tell us your dates and we will position the route on the stretch of the migration that is realistic for that period.
Can we see Mount Kilimanjaro on these trips?
Yes, from Amboseli National Park on the Kenyan route, weather permitting. The Tanzanian route starts from the Kilimanjaro side of the country.
Are these fixed departures or group tours?
Neither. The routes shown here are sample itineraries. Every trip is designed to order, around your dates, your pace and your budget.
Are international flights included?
No. International flights are never included in our prices. You can compare options through our airline comparator, and we can help you with the booking if you want.
Is there a honeymoon version of these safaris?
Yes. Our honeymoon in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar reworks the same regions around a couple, usually with a longer beach finish.
