We recommend a minimum of 12 days in Panama to enjoy properly the Caribbean coast in Panama. To rent a car on your side is a good option for a part of the trip, and taking transfers for some of the step is also a fine choice. It is an amazing place to relax, have fun and discover a rich culture while living an unforgettable adventure. The Panama’s Caribbean coast regroups some of the most beautiful places in the country. And even if you might have to make a choice between the following wonders, here is a litlle foretaste of what your holidays can look like.

The start takes usually place in the captivating capital Panama City, where your flight will land at one of this two airports (both near the city center). In this both historical and modern capital, you will love navigating across the Panama Canal, exploring the true beauty of Casco Antiguo, walking along the docks of Almador, riding between skyscrapers building and discovering the historical Old Panama.

Why the Caribe?

From Panama City, it’s completely worth it to go for a few nights in Islas San Blas. Where you will be lost in the wonder of the Caribe. Huge chances that this blue heaven will stay engraved in your memories forever. The city of Colon is also a fine place to visit, with very near by, Portobello and Puerto Lindo, small fishermans villages where you will easily lost track of time.

Then, time for the adventure part. Go exploring the fascinating natural world of this amazing land of Panama, in the boots of Indiana Jones. Meet the sloths of El Valle de Anton, a unique ‘city within the crater’, and travel to the remote mountain village of Santa Fe. You could also travel to the endless beaches of Las Lajas. There, you can enjoy great trails hiking through dense luxurious forests full of wildlife.
