Details

Day 1:

Upon arrival at SJO International Airport, you will be met by our partner to take you to your hotel in the heart of San José. Discover the capital of Costa Rica and get over the jetlag.

Night in San José, breakfast included.

Day 2:

Departure from the hotel at a previously indicated time to the area of Guapiles where you will have a typical Costa Rican breakfast. We will continue our trip through banana plantations and small towns of the area before arriving at the dock where you will board the boats to navigate the Tortuguero canals to the Lodge. In the afternoon you can visit the small turtle museum, the beach and the village of Tortuguero.

Night in Tortuguero National Park, complete pension included.

Day 3:

During this day you will take a boat tour through the Tortuguero canals where you will have the chance to admire the wide biodiversity of the area. Then, enjoy your free time to relax at the hotel, visit the town on your own or take an optional activity. In the evening you can take a visit to see the nesting of leatherback turtles, which occurs between July and October. This excursion has an additional cost and can be booked once you are in the area.

Night in Tortuguero National Park, complete pension included.

Day 4:

After the breakfast, it’s time to go on the road again. Next stop : La Fortuna. On the way you will see the transition between the inlands and the beautiful rain forest. Once arrived, get settle in you hotel and enjoy its facilities with a beautiful view at the Arenal Volcan.

Day 5:

After the breakfast, we suggest that you take advantage of the activities that La Fortuna offers. You can go for a walk/hike and do activities in the Arenal Volcano National Park, go to the famous waterfall and take a swim, walk through the streets of the city center or go to the Paso Salto river… La Fortuna is also well-known for its natural hot springs, feel free to try it! Day 6:

Time to go see the Pacific coast, with your first stop there : Playa Coco. Get on the road to enjoy wonderful landscapes. Once arrived, take time to walk by and discover these new views of the country. Settle in your hotel near the beach for one of the most beautiful sunset you’ll ever see.

Day 7 & 8:

Enjoy the next two days to relax and bath-sun. The atmosphere of Coco Beach is welcoming, so you’ll just have to get along and try out the best spot on the beaches around.

Time to discover another part of the pacific coast, the beautiful Samara. This charming coastal town boasts a laid-back atmosphere, where time seems to slow down and worries dissipate with the ocean breeze.

With its pristine white-sand beaches fringed by swaying palm trees and crystalline waters, Samara beckons travelers seeking relaxation and natural beauty.
