Details
Day 1:
Upon arrival at SJO International Airport, you will be met by our partner to take you to your hotel in the heart of San José. Discover the capital of Costa Rica and get over the jetlag.
Night in San José, breakfast included.
Day 2:
Departure from the hotel at a previously indicated time to the area of Guapiles where you will have a typical Costa Rican breakfast. We will continue our trip through banana plantations and small towns of the area before arriving at the dock where you will board the boats to navigate the Tortuguero canalsto the lodge. In the afternoon you can visit the small turtle museum, the beach and the village of Tortuguero.
Night in Tortuguero National Park, full pension included.
Day 3:
During this day you will take a boat tour through the Tortuguero canals where you will have the chance to admire the wide biodiversity of the area. Then, enjoy your free time to relax at the hotel, visit the town on your own or take an optional activity. In the evening you can take a visit to see the nesting of leatherback turtles, which occurs between July and October. This excursion has an additional cost and can be booked once you are in the area.
Night in Tortuguero National Park, full pension included.
Day 4:
After the breakfast, it’s time to leave the hotel in Tortuguero at mid-morning. We will stop for lunch in the area of Guapiles and then you will take the road to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. It will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes before arriving in the city of the Pura Vida. Settle in your hotel and enjoy its facilities.

Day 5:
Discover the multitudes of landscapes Puerto Viejo has to offer. Between paradisiac beaches, luxurious nature, and cute little village, we invite you to dive into this beautiful atmosphere during the day and the night. Find all our recommendations in your AZORA GUIDE.

Day 6:
Change of setting! After the breakfast, take the road to La Fortuna. You will have about 4 and a half hour to get there. Once arrived, get settle in your hotel and enjoy its facilities with a beautiful view at the Arenal Volcan.

Day 7:
After the breakfast, we suggest that you take advantage of the activities that La Fortuna offers. You can go for a walk/hike and do activities in the Arenal Volcano National Park, go to the famous waterfall and take a swim, walk through the streets of the city center or go to the Paso Salto river… La Fortuna is also well-known for its natural hot springs, feel free to try it! Day 8:
Take the road to Flamingo Beach after the breakfast. Enjoy a 3 hours and 20 minutes of road to get to the Pacific coast. Settle in your hotel and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Day 9:
Take the day to discover the area. Flamingo is conveniently located near some of Costa Rica’s most visited beaches. For example Tamarindo, a great surfing beach with many restaurants, bars and hotels – and Samara, a more nature environment. Find there also, Playa Grande, home to Las Baulas Marine Park where leatherback turtles come to lay their eggs.

Day 10 & 11:
Take the road to Monteverde, it will take around 3 and a half hours to arrive in the region of the rainbows. Take time to enjoy the facilities of your hotel and discover this new area. Day 12:
New change of setting! Take the road after the breakfast for Manuel Antonio. You will have for about 4h30 of road, following the Pacific coast… Splendid landscapes will highlight the road. Settle in in your hotel and discover another part of Costa Rica.

Day 13:
Ready to discover the Manuel Antonio National Park and its surroundings? Manuel Antonio National Park combines rainforest, coral reef and white sand beach.
